Wilfried Nancy insisted he was not afraid of the sack, claiming, “The team is extremely close to a turnaround,” despite sliding worryingly close to the exit with a comprehensive loss to Rangers.

Rangers manager played down talk of a serious challenge even after what appeared to be a landmark win. “We take it game by game, then we can gradually build something here,” he said. “The confidence in the team is excellent.”
