Reports indicate that beloved stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are set to appear once again in the latest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The film is currently in production.
An Important Reunion for Fans
The actors are returning as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the roles they originated. It is believed their cameos will probably be featured in a flash-forward sequence, considering the original saga concluded with their characters living in peace.
This marks the sixth installment in the highly successful Hunger Games franchise.

Sunrise on the Reaping draws its story from a 2025 novel by author Suzanne Collins. It will be the second prequel film after 2023's The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Returning to the director's chair is Francis Lawrence, who directed the majority of the previous films in the series.
