The English forward Expresses Desire to Continue at the Catalan club When Temporary Period Ends
Marcus Rashford has registered 138 goals in four hundred twenty-six matches for Manchester United
Marcus Rashford hopes to remain at the Spanish giants when his season-long move from his parent club concludes in the coming months.
Barcelona have the option to acquire the English forward for good for 28 million pounds - a lower cost than the 40 million pounds the Red Devils would require from any alternative club.
The 27-year-old player's Old Trafford contract runs to twenty twenty-eight but he looks to have uncertain prospects at the Theatre of Dreams while the manager is head coach.
"For sure," the player told the sports network when asked if he wanted to remain in the Spanish league. "I'm enjoying this football club and I feel for anyone who enjoys soccer, Barcelona is one of the major teams in the story of the sport. For a footballer it is an honour."
Rashford featured the concluding months of the previous campaign at the Birmingham club, where his performance was reinvigorated under Unai Emery.
He took his scoring record to 5 in 12 matches for his new team thanks to a two goals against the Greek side in the Champions League on recently.
He, who is set to play in his first Clasico against Real Madrid this coming Saturday, believes he is benefiting from a different setting.
"People forget this, but over two decades of my career was with Manchester United. So sometimes you just require a change. I think possibly this is the scenario with me and I'm loving everything."
