Tributes Continue for the Reiners as Medical Examiner's Findings Face a Security Hold.

More than two weeks following the shocking loss of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, friends and colleagues continue to honor the duo.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Recalls His Director

Sharing on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's 1987 classic *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he only now felt able to post publicly about his profound loss.

"Enough time has elapsed that I can now express my sorrow into words," shared Elwes, adding that his introductory moment with Reiner left him smitten. "Once we started spending more time together I knew this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor shared never-before-seen clips from the film, remarking that he could not remember "a single day without joy".

"The movie is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Things that Rob valued immensely. This is one of the many reasons he was the ideal person to helm it," Elwes wrote.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, stating: "Asserting that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I recall you." He concluded with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Friend and Collaborator

In a separate piece, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese highlighted Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the protagonist.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked beautifully with his co-stars, and he grasped the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese noted.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Withheld

In a new development, a Los Angeles judge decided to bar the disclosure of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, at the request from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A court order put a restriction on the investigation to limit the public release of "all case details, evidence and photographs" associated with the active case.

The Medical Examiner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the outcome of foul play, with a official listing citing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

After the killings, public individuals offered different comments.

Former President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, providing divisive remarks that were met with immediate backlash by numerous individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his criticism to the detractors last week. Conversing on his show, Rogan characterized the comments as "disturbing" and remarked they revealed a concerning absence of compassion.
